TOKONAME (常滑) Ceramic handcrafted by Mansuke who is a potter of the traditional and historical kilns in TOKONAME where is most famous place about the beckoning cat in Japan.
The beckoning cat sit down quietly with raising hand and invites. It is originally a mascot only in Japan. The origin is coming from dated back to the Edo era, approximately 150 years ago.
